Since the year 2004 ICPE-CA became the National Institute for Research and Development in Electrical Engineering ICPE-CA Bucharest. Based on its experience since 1950s, ICPE-CA continues a tradition of excellence in research. Over the last 15 years, the institute has developed its research infrastructure considerably and has expanded its multidisciplinary and applicative research area, becoming a promoter of knowledge-based progress in electrical engineering. INCDIE ICPE-CA fosters and carries on applicative research in the field of electrical engineering (materials, electrotechnologies, new energy sources, micro- and nano-electrotechnologies, vibration and dynamic balancing, electromagnetic compatibility etc.), for the benefit of both private and public companies.
