Abstract:
The general project objective is the promotion within the irrigated agriculture in Romania of fertigation, modern concept of agricultural technique by which the fertilizing substances are administered to plants simultaneously with the irrigation water. In this respect there will be developed working technologies for fertigation of main horticultural species from protected areas and of fruit crops, will be designed and produced an innovative fertigation equipment, with significant market potential. The absolute novelty in creating the primary solution injection device (the double diaphragm pump) resides in assimilation of a hydraulic inverter of original concept, with the role to change direction of travel of the pump mobile kit, which will be the subject of an application for a national patent. The driving fluid for actuation of the pump for injection of the primary solution will be the water taken from the supply pipeline of the irrigation equipment, which gives it energetic autonomy at any point of the arrangement.
Through the issues addressed, the proposed project falls into the Priority domain 5- Agriculture, food safety and security, Research thematic 5.1.1-Evaluation, exploitation, protection and improvement of natural resources to increase safety and security of agricultural and food production.
The project will be carried out by a consortium composed of a research institute with experience in hydraulic and pneumatic drives INOE 2000-IHP (CO), a university- USAMV Iasi (P1) and a research institute- Research & Development Institute for Fruit Growing Pitesti – Maracineni (P2), with expertise in agricultural technology, an economic agent SC PRESTCOM SA (P3) with expertise in manufacturing of equipment, machinery and tools for industry and agriculture and also an economic agent SC LYRA HIDRAULICS CONSULTING SRL (P4) with competence in construction and repairing of mobile machinery.
The inter / multi disciplinary character of the project proposal comes from the need for interference of knowledge within complementary fields in order to achieve the project objectives: agronomy, hydraulics, mechanical engineering, machine building.
The mission of the partnership is the design, implementation and testing of technical solutions for an innovative fertigation equipment, which is to significantly reduce the environmental impact of chemical fertilizers (eliminating emissions of volatile pollutants into the air, eliminating the risk of groundwater pollution, reducing the concentration of nitrite and nitrate in agricultural products, with direct implications on human health, reducing the amount of labor involved in agricultural technological processes and energy consumption).
The project will include activities of industrial research, experimental development, intellectual property protection, dissemination of results. Key activities of the project are represented by the design and execution of experimental models of fertigation equipment and development of fertigation technologies, by which the project can be regarded as having great impact on research and innovation.
Sales market for fertigation equipment designed, by which the fertigation technologies developed will be implemented, targets horticulture farms from protected areas and large crops owned by farmers in Romania.
The risks of failing to achieve the objectives may be caused by decreased funding of the proposal, by inflation, as well as by possible insolvency of one of the partners. For any deficiency occurred mitigation measures will be taken, assuming the effects of risks that could lead to disturbances in achieving the targets. Project management provides solutions of contingency, in order to carry out activities under optimal conditions.
The project budget was established in accordance to duration and importance of the activities developed.

Abstract:
Biosenzorii reprezintă instrumente puternice ce identifica selectiv compuși toxici cu concentrații foarte reduse în produsele industriale; substanțe chimice; probe de aer, sol şi apa, sau apa; sau în sistemele biologice dedicate diagnosticării medicale. În consecință, biosenzorii sunt un domeniu de cercetare în plină expansiune, care combină biologia, biochimia, chimia, fizica şi știința informației. Noțiunea de biosenzor a apărut in anii 1970 şi s-a folosit pentru a desemna un instrument folosit pentru monitorizarea funcțiilor organismului viu sau a sistemelor care incorporează elemente biologice. Funcționarea unui biosenzor se bazează pe un mecanism biochimic. Obiectivul major al acestui proiect îl reprezintă păstrarea caracteristicilor sistemului de recunoaștere (molecule biologice) care va reacționa în prezenta unui grup de materiale sau substanțe de detectat. Echipele de cercetare vor folosi tehnici laser avansate pentru funcţionalizarea suprafețelor care vor permite obținerea unor structuri uniforme şi reproductibile acoperite cu receptori biologici care pot fi incluse într-un biosenzor. Spectroscopia în IR (FTIR/ATR) va fi folosită pentru evidențierea şi caracterizarea moleculelor biologice transferate laser. În eventualitatea existentei unor modificări structurale, care pot influenţa eficacitatea biologică a moleculei şi respectiv a funcționării biosenzorului, protocolul de iradiere şi transfer laser va fi modificat până la atingerea parametrilor optimi.
