Abstract:
The initiated collaboration between the beneficiary, S.C. Voltelect - Line SRL, having as main activity the design and realization of electrical installations and the research services provider, Power Quality and Energy Efficiency Research Group of the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca has as main objective the implementation of an assisted technology for the designing, realization and verification of earthing installations for different types of low-voltage electrical installations (area covered by beneficiary by ANRE attestation). This will be done with the support of dedicated software, developed by the provider, which will interactively track with the working team (its head) all the phases of the journey, from the survey, design to execution and measurement. Each phase is composed of steps that will have: a relevant description, a series of variables that need to be introduced (variables measured on situ or/and asked by design specification), action confirmation, and feedback. Steps that make up one phase are logically chained, and the completion of a phase (by hierarchy of all steps) will generate inputs for the next phase, an initiate project can not be "shuffled" to complete. Besides the safety of the conformity and the quality of the work, the technology, once implemented, provides the personnel, materials and logistics needs of the work.

Abstract:
The project aims to implement a system of sustainable and efficient agriculture from an economic viewpoint, adapted to climate change through an expert system for pedo-climatic monitoring in the Transylvanian Depression. Predicted effects emphasize the agricultural system management, conservation and sustainable use of soil and water resources in the context of global climate change, through implementation of new, effective, conservative and pedo-climatically tailored agricultural technologies.
Applied research carried out within the project is based on the actual agricultural situation of the Transylvanian Depression, where, due to inadequate arable land tillage systems, a series of negative aspects have emerged, concerning the following: soil fertility, output and quality of the resulted crops, climate change, landscape and environment quality. Acquisition of scientifically, technologically advanced and globally competitive results from the part of the team proposing the project, a member of the European Platform Modelling European Agriculture with Climate Change for Food Security" (MACSUR: http://www. macsur.eu), through international involvement, is the most appropriate means of fighting climate anomalies, of adapting to the desertification phenomenon, of carbon sequestration in the soil and of agricultural system efficiency.
The project capitalizes on the results of the Minimum Research Systems and Sustainable Agricultural Technologies Center (SMTAD), as well as those of a collaborative Agreement with Louisiana State University (USA). This research program, started in 2008, represents the first large-scale work of thermal and hydric monitoring soil regimes (temperature, humidity, precipitation) from the Transylvanian Plain, through 20 micro-stations, which constitutes a premiere for the Romanian science. Through this research 2 doctoral theses have been completed (in the USA and Romania). 2 other doctoral themes are still in progress on this research program and 5 more research projects have been submitted at the national and international level.
Starting from these results of fundamental research, the project aims at achieving a genuine product – an expert system (a functional pattern) for monitoring and real-time forecasting of climate risks (through modernization of 20 existing stations and the installation of 10 other stations in the Someșan Plateau), taking into account the weather forecast, able to accurately predict climate anomalies periods for different agricultural crops. In order to warn the farmers and correctly predict the necessity of the need to fight against climatic risks, the program will be adapted on the basis of applied research carried out with conservative technologies and specific adaptation measures, within the framework of agricultural enterprises representative for this area.
The project will conclude through the patenting of 3 conservative agricultural technologies as viable, effective and realistic alternatives to conventional agriculture, as currently implemented. The elaboration and adaptation of these technologies is achieved through the certification of an expert system (functional pattern) of risk monitoring.
The project provides access to farmers to sustainable agricultural technologies (effective and conservative) suitable to pedo-climatic and socio-economic conditions of the Transylvanian Depression, in agreement with the measures recommended by the EU for adaptation to climate change: assessing land quality and a specialized audit for the optimization of the implemented technology; conservative technologies implementation; experimental development and certification of at least 3 conservative technologies and 1 expert system of risk monitoring. The project has a major socio-economic impact, involving 2 universities, 1 research station, 1 agricultural company, 1 private research-development company, all anchored in a strong international network of research and development.
