National Research and Development Institute for Industrial Ecology - ECOIND is an environmental research institute where multidisciplinary skills and technological know-how of approx. 160 scientists are brought together in 4 departments dealing with environmental protection and innovation. Our field of expertise includes: pollution control (air, water, soil, waste), evaluation of the level of smell in the ambient air, biological and ecotoxicology studies, environmental studies and impact assessment, environmental (bio)technologies, consultancy and trainings for all of the above. ECOIND combines high scientific proficiency with extensive experience in the coordination and participation in national and international research projects as well as contract work with industrial partners. ECOIND has recently developed the research infrastructure, our endowment being diversified and substantially updated in order to meet the requirements of the most ambitious environmental research project.
