Abstract:

Linguist Mircea Seche’s study, Outline of History of the Romanian Lexicography (1966-1969), presents an image of the development of multilingual lexicography from origins (1687) and until the years of volumes publication (1966, 1969). The project, with a predominant metalexicografical character, proposes the monographic research of Romanian multilingual dictionaries, given the doubling of works in the last half century, on the coordinates: history and typology. The end concrete result will be an analytical and critical bibliography, preceded by an introductory theoretical chapter on the historical development and typological classification. The concrete objectives of the project are: bibliographic documentation, systematization and interpretation of factual material, setting stages of dictionaries development and typological classification criteria, drafting micromonographs and introductory chapter. Measurable objectives are: communication of partial results of the project through papers at national and international scientific events in the country and abroad; publication of partial results as articles in scientific journals indexed in international databases; organizing workshops. Research will be conducted in three stages: 1. organization and bibliographic documentation, 2. drafting of presentation texts, 3. revision of materials. To achieve the objectives of the proposed project will work an interdisciplinary team with complementary skills.

Abstract:

Obiectivul general al proiectului este sprijinirea a 84 de doctoranzi si 56 de doctori (absolventi in ultimii cinci ani) specializati in filozofie, stiinte sociale si umaniste (antropologie, bioetica, economie, litere, psihologie si stiinte ale educatiei, politologie si relatii internationale, sociologie, studii culturale, stiinte cognitive, stiinte ale comunicarii, stiinte istorice, stiinte juridice etc.) pentru a urma si dezvolta o cariera performanta in cercetare. Vor fi sprijiniti, de asemenea, si doctoranzii si doctorii (absolventi in ultimii cinci ani) specializati in stiinte tehnice si exacte care abordeaza si din perspectiva filosofica, etica, sociologica sau economica probleme specifice domeniului lor de cercetare.

Proiectul se adreseaza doctoranzilor si doctorilor (absolventi in ultimii cinci ani) care doresc sa investigheze teme interdisciplinare de cercetare, de actualitate stiintifica si importanta sociala specifice. Ca atare, se va urmari sprijinirea cu prioritate a cercetatorilor interesati sa trateze, intr-o maniera originala si inovatoare, teme care indeplinesc cel putin una dintre urmatoarele 7 conditii: 1) reprezinta teme (sau/si probleme, teorii, idei, perspective, paradigme etc.) noi si de o prioritate crescuta pentru domeniile de cercetare in care au fost avansate si abordate; 2) constituie teme sau probleme investigate in cadrul (si solutionabile prin contributia) mai multor discipline sau domenii de cercetare stiintifica; 3) sunt teme apte sa contribuie in mod semnificativ la intelegerea si la oferirea unui raspuns adecvat fenomenelor (economice, sociale, culturale, politice etc.) fundamentale ce caracterizeaza lumea contemporana (precum globalizarea, regionalizarea, revolutia tehnologica si informationala, multiculturalitatea, integrarea europeana etc.); 4) constituie teme a caror abordare este fundamentala pentru intelegerea si implementarea adecvata a valorilor, normelor si principiilor de organizare si dezvoltare ale unei bune societati bazate pe cunoastere (valori precum drepturile individuale, cresterea economica si dezvoltarea durabila, echitatea, egalitatea de sanse, egalitatea de gen, dezvoltarea umana etc.); 5) sunt teme cu un inalt potential aplicativ in mediul economic, social, politic sau administrativ, putand oferi noi modele si strategii de crestere economica, de diminuare a inegalitatilor sociale sau/si a disparitatilor regionale, noi strategii de valorificare si dezvoltare a patrimoniului cultural si turistic, noi metode manageriale, de marketing si dezvoltare antreprenoriala, noi strategii de absorbtie adecvata a tehnologiilor etc.; 6) reprezinta teme a caror abordare poate favoriza solutionarea problemelor (economice, sociale, culturale, legislative, administrative, politice etc.) care caracterizeaza societatea romaneasca actuala; 7) sunt teme a caror abordare este apta sa contribuie la promovarea culturii romane in spatiul international.

Proiectul este fundamentat pe intentia de a raspunde uneia dintre necesitățile actuale presante ale societății romanești, in contextul dezideratului sprijinirii dezvoltarii umane si cresterii economice bazate pe cunoastere: constituirea unei resurse umane inalt-calificate si performante în cercetarea fundamentala, aplicativa si de dezvoltare, pregatita sa raspunda exigentelor pietei cercetarii si capabila sa-si disemineze rezultatele muncii în mediul academic sau/si economic european si international. Implementarea acestui proiect va avea drept rezultat crearea, dezvoltarea si consolidarea unor retele flexibile de cercetare si perfectionare, adaptate cerintelor europene si focalizate pe teme de cercetare cu un grad mare de aplicabilitate in domenii diverse ale cunoasterii sau ale practicii sociale, in stransa legatura cu imperativul dezvoltarii competitive a cercetarii stiintifice si cu necesitatile societale actuale.

Abstract:

THE PROJECT THE AUDIO-VISUAL LINGUISTIC ATLAS OF BUKOVINA (ALAB). THE FIRST STAGE INTENDS TO ACHIEVE, FOR THE FIRST TIME IN THE ROMANIAN RESEARCH, A LINGUISTIC ELECTRONIC ATLAS THAT WILL USE THE SOUND-VIDEO IMAGE SYNCRETISM IN RENDERING THE DIALECTAL MATERIAL IN .HTML FORMAT. TAKING INTO ACCOUNT THE LATEST RESULTS IN THIS FIELD (SPRACHATLAS DES DOLOMITENLADINISCHEN UND ANGRENZENDER DIALEKTE, ATLAS LINGUISTIQUE AUDIOVISUEL DU VALAIS ROMAND) AND USING OUR OWN EXPERIENCE IN COMPUTERIZING THE NEW ROMANIAN LINGUISTIC ATLAS ON REGIONS. MOLDAVIA AND BUKOVINA (A PROJECT THAT RECEIVED THE OCTAV MAYER PRIZE OF THE IASI BRANCH OF THE ROMANIAN ACADEMY, IN 2006), THE RESEARCHERS’ TEAM WILL ACCOMPLISH FIELDWORKS USING QUESTIONNAIRES AND THE LAST GENERATION TECHNICAL EQUIPMENT THAT WILL ALLOW THE CREATION OF A SITE WITH THE RESULTS OF OUR FIELDWORK IN AUDIO-VIDEO FORMAT. THE INTERFACE WILL BE INTERACTIVE AND WILL PERMIT THE USERS TO HAVE ACCESS TO A LINGUISTIC MATERIAL COMPARABLE FOR THE WHOLE POINTS NETWORK, A MATERIAL THAT WILL BE PRESENTED IN THE CONTEXT IT WAS OBTAINED. THIS METHOD THAT CREATES THE CIRCUMSTANCE OF KEEPING THE SPONTANEITY OF THE ANSWERS OFFERS THE POSSIBILITY OF ANALYZING THE VARIATIONISTE PHENOMENA THAT BECOME CLEAR ON THE PHONETIC LEVEL OF THE SENTENCE (SANDHI PHONETICS) AS WELL AS ON THE SUPRASEGMENTAL LEVEL (INTONATION STRUCTURES) OR EVEN PRAGMATIC (THE USE OF PRAGMATIC CONNECTORS, OF THE CONVERSATIONAL STRATEGIES ETC.). IN CONCLUSION, CORROBORATING A QUESTIONNAIRE MEANT TO BE USED FOR A DOCUMENTATION OF THE LINGUISTIC, PARALINGUISTIC AND NON-LINGUISTIC PHENOMENA WITH A DIGITAL SYNCRETIC TECHNIQUE OF COLLECTING THE LINGUISTIC MATERIAL MAY ACHIEVE AN INTERACTIVE MULTIMEDIA DOCUMENT DATABASE THAT WILL FACILITATE AN INNOVATIVE APPROACH IN THE ANALYSIS OF THE GEO-AND SOCIOLINGUISTIC VARIATIONS.

Abstract:

The project is one of the academic approaches related to the digitization of the Romanian language, to the information technology in general and to the informational and knowledge society in particular, illustrating the proper collaboration between linguists and IT specialists and being part of a digitization strategy of the Romanian linguistic research, established by the Romanian Philology Institute Alexandru Philippide of the Romanian Academy, in collaboration with the Informatics Faculty of Alexandru Ioan Cuza University and with Romanian Academy’s Theoretical Informatics Institute. This strategy has so far been put into practice by the Philippide Institute, through certain projects for the acquisition in electronic format of the Romanian Thesaurus Dictionary and of the sources from its Bibliography (by finalizing three grants and by participating in eDTLR, project financed by CNMP); there were also significant results in digitizing the New Regional Linguistic Atlas. Moldova and Bucovina. or the Dictionary of the Romanian literature.

The present project has as purpose the valorisation of certain results from the complex project eDTLR, by using, as reference text for the alignment, the Thesaurus Dictionary in electronic format and especially creating a Romanian lexicographic corpus, which will contain 100 dictionaries (from the XVIth century to present day) aligned at entry and meaning level. We will also realize an interface which will allow, on one hand, the consultation of this corpus and, on the other hand, correcting and bringing up-to-date the present DLR edition, as well as preparing the future editions of the Academy Dictionary.

At the same time, the lexicographic corpus realized by us will constitute an useful database for linguistic research, in the country or abroad, having the potential of being useful, at its turn, in future project for implementing and developing the Romanian fundamental humanist research according to international standards.
