Abstract:

The method of chemical reduction of coating with nickel alloys and composite structures leads to achieving of layers with special and improved properties, when compared to the layers resulted from electrolytic coating. They are layers with superior resistance to corrosion, wear, fatigue and have a longer lifetime.

Various solutions will be researched and experimented of nickel coating and addition materials, with the purpose of getting layers of Ni-P, Ni-P-Me, Ni-P-MeO, Ni-P-Me1-Me2O; the goal is to establish some optimum process parameters and to design some technologies which to allow achievement of layers with innovative compositions, structures and properties. The study of ternary or complex alloys and of composite and nano-composite materials deposited by this method is a current topic of research. Nickel coating by chemical reduction is the focus of some current research studies as the method has also proven to be attractive in getting top products such as nano-materials, allowing at the same time modification of material surface and achievement of a wide range of properties and uses.
