Abstract:
The project focuses on the determination of various secondary plant metabolites, in particular from the genera Galium and Helichrysum. These compounds, including polyphenols, essential oils and terpenoids, have attracted attention because of their potential therapeutic uses. The study aims to investigate how these plants change their secondary metabolite profiles in response to different growing conditions and habitats, including stressors such as drought, high carbon dioxide and ozone.

Abstract:
The project focused on the complex study of medicinal plants. Starting with the introduction in the center culture and development of cultivation technologies. Continuing with the phytochemical study by identification and dosage of active principles (phenolic and terpenic compounds), determination of antioxidant, antimicrobial and hepatoprotective activity of the extracts obtained. Finally, standardization of the extractive products and elaboration of technical standardization documentation.
