Abstract:
The project proposes an innovative energy vector and develops theoretical and experimental researches allowing the implementation of feasible and reliable technologies for economical and social use. For the development of the project there is a strong material base, which covers all activities envisaged. Proposed innovative technology for efficient combustion of biomass includes breath of hydrogen produced by hydrolysis of biomass over water particles. This technology aims to increase combustion performance with a very low amount of hydrogen, based on the easy absorption of hydrogen into the existing pore structure of solid biomass. The technology will also highlight the dynamics of sulfur oxides emission reduction that will be further tested in pilot plants. Mathematical modeling of combustion equations will allow for the degree of adsorption to highlight the general effects of combustion, expressed by the speed of ignition, burning rate, emissions. The transition to making experimental combustion will be consistent with data from modeling and numerical simulation. There will be separate tests of the hydrogen adsorption by the biomass, including testing the speed and amount of hydrogen abstraction.
For the innovative point of the research, the study is a new approach of revaluing the renewable energy as biomass potential enhancing with an energy carrier: hydrogen. There are many researches on the combustion of hydrogen with coal, fuel oil,bio fuel, but none with reed.

Abstract:
The project concept is based on holistic approach to management and engineering psychology applied to a coal-fired energy system in order to reduce pollution and increase quality of life as having a total novelty and originality character on national level.
Applied to an energy group, the holistic model requires understanding of this type of organization as a complex organism divided into two systems of reference in interaction: the technical-economic and human system, viewed as a single unit complement.
The project consists in applicative research to an energy unit which follows organizational and structural changes in an attempt to adapt at very dynamic and nonlinear segment of the market economy, namely electricity market.
The novelty and originality includes holistic approach of the entire ensemble: Human-equipment in order to increase the energy system, but also by developing technical solutions to reduce NOx emissions to a boiler type 525 t/h coal-fuel from the 315 MW unit.
The project will provide functional assessment of the existing burning and fuel preparation systems, on which will be realised a burner model which will be experimentally tested. The results will be used for the burner model (0,5 MW) designing, mounting and testing on experimental boiler. Processing of experimental data will serve to achieve and patent the industrial burner.
The technical documentation of industrial burner will be used by the partner CTE Isalnita. Economic and ecological performance of the burner will be evaluated by experimental in-situ measurements, while the benefits of human factors analysis.
Dissemination of R&D results are: publishing minimum 6 articles; informing local factors, energy and local government administration factors; printing of brochures and posters concerning the new technology performances and their presenting in various scientific or technical manifests; presenting works at national and international conferences.

Abstract:
România este un mare cultivator de cereale. Producţia de cereale a atins în anul 2010 valoarea de 10,7 milioane tone. Se menţionează însă că există mari varietăţi de la an la an a producţiei de cereale, în special datorită condiţiilor meteorologice, anul 2010 reprezentând prin producţia realizată un an de referinţă privind disponibilul real. Producţia de paie utilizabilă energetic variază între 2 şi 7 milioane tone anual (s-a scăzut reutilizarea inclusiv în agricultură), valoarea energetică fiind de 736,58 • 103 tep. Cercetările întreprinse până în momentul de faţă în România au demonstrat că cel mai economic mod de valorificare energetică a paielor cuprinde brichetarea acestora. Realizarea de pelete cuprinde o tocare la dimensiuni foarte reduse, greu de realizat tehnic şi foarte scumpă. Tocarea paielor în vederea brichetării se poate realiza fie la recoltare, fie ulterior după balotare. Este de preferat al doilea procedeu, deoarece brichetarea la locul recoltării complică foarte mult acest procedeu. Analiza elementară reprezentativă pentru paiele din regiunea Moldova Nord este caracterizată prin valorile raportate la masa combustibilă:
Cmc = 50 – 52%, Hmc = 0,4 – 0,6%, O, Omc = 38,2 – 43,1%.
Cenuşa la starea anhidră, Aanh = 5%; umiditate totală 10 12%. Puterea calorifică inferioară: 15000 – 17500 KJ/kg.
Acest cazan a fost construit în soluţia arderii în tub de flacără, pentru ca mantaua de apă ce înconjoară tubul de flacără să conducă la o răcire accentuată, astfel încât temperatura la finele tubului de flacără (focarului) să nu depăşească 550C.
Încălzirea apei se realizează, în spaţiul dintre montarea cazanului şi tubul focar şi în pachetul schimbător de căldură convectiv amplasat deasupra cazanului.
Cazanul este complet automatizat începând cu admisia brichetelor şi terminând cu acordul între sarcina termică, excesul de aer şi alimentarea cu combustibil.
Evacuarea zgurii se realizează cu un şnec amplasat transversal pe axa tubului de flacără.
