Alina Catrinel Ion is professor at National University Politehnica of Bucharest, Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnologies, Deaprtment of Analytical Chemistry and Instrumental Analysis, with a scientif activity directed to environmental analytical chemistry and environmental applications of carbon based materials and nanomaterials. She wrote 100 papers concerning these subjects, has a Hirsch index - Google Scholar of 23 and several collaborations with groups of researchers from Poland and China at this moment. She is also regional Editor at International Journal of Environmental Analytical Chemistry.
